For Givers
How do wallet top-ups work?+
You load money once into your Xerish wallet using a card (2.5%) or bank transfer (1.5%). Top-up fees are paid one time. After that, every gift from your wallet reaches the organization 100% — Xerish takes 0% on the gift itself.
Why is there 0% fee on my gifts?+
Because the wallet model lets us collect the payment-processor fee once at top-up instead of nibbling on every gift. Most platforms charge 2-3% per transaction. On Xerish, organizations receive every cent of what you tap to give.
What is the F.I.G.S. verification?+
F.I.G.S. stands for Faith, Integrity, Generosity, Stewardship. Every organization on Xerish has passed manual review against this standard. Verified organizations show a F.I.G.S. badge on their profile. We are deliberately selective.
How does recurring giving work?+
From any organization, post, or fund you can set a recurring gift (weekly, biweekly, monthly). Your wallet auto-tops-up before each scheduled gift if your balance is low. You can pause or cancel anytime from Settings → Recurring Gifts.
How do I share a post or organization?+
Tap the share icon on any post or organization profile. You can copy a link or send it to a friend. Posts and profiles open as public pages on xerish.com — no app required to view.
How do tax statements work?+
Your annual giving statement is generated as a branded PDF in the mobile app each January, covering the prior calendar year. It itemizes every gift by organization and includes IRS Publication 1771-compliant language. Open Treasury → Annual Statement to download.
How do I delete my account?+
Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate inside the app — your PII is anonymized and any active recurring gifts are cancelled in one step. Your tax-relevant gift records are retained per IRS requirements; everything else is permanently removed.
What is the Family tier on a church profile?+
Some churches publish a Family tier — Family-only posts, prayer requests, events, and giving summaries reserved for members. You self-select into a church Family from the church profile. No approval needed. You can leave anytime.
