Reading your Analytics
Analytics is your organization's data hub. It pulls together giving, reach, engagement, your giver base and forward projections into one tabbed view, so you can see how your work is landing.
What it's for
Understanding what's working — which posts move people to give, whether your giver base is growing or cooling, and what your recurring giving will likely bring in next month.
How it works
Set the period once. The selector at the top — This Month, This Quarter, This Year, All Time — applies across every tab. Giving figures follow the period; engagement counts (likes, prayers, shares) are lifetime totals across all your posts.
Move through the tabs:
- Overview — recurring run-rate, active recurring and new-this-month; a giving panel (total raised, monthly average, unique givers, average gift); engagement and reach; a monthly giving bar chart; and your top posts by giving.
- Reach / Engagement / Audience / Content — how far your posts travel, how people interact, who your audience is, and a per-post reach-to-gift funnel.
- Givers — giver retention, first-time retention and net giving retention, plus giving movements (where this period's giving came from versus last). A link opens the full Giver Intelligence cohort view.
- Projections — your committed-recurring run-rate projected forward six months, annualized, and (where available) a full giving forecast blending recurring with a trend line.
- Impact — units delivered from giving against each post's impact cost, plus any metrics you've reported manually.
- Funds — churches only: how fund-directed giving splits across your Funds and designations.
Governing limitations
- Giver figures are aggregate — no individual giver PII surfaces in Analytics. Per-giver detail lives elsewhere, gated to authorized admins.
- Engagement counts are lifetime, not period-bound, even when a giving period is selected.
- The full giving forecast depends on a server-side aggregate; until it's in place, the tab shows the committed-recurring projection only and no estimated numbers.
- The Funds tab appears only for church accounts.
Good to know
- The committed-recurring projection assumes no churn and no new starts — read it as a conservative floor, not a ceiling.
- In Giving movements, inflows (new, reactivated, increased) and outflows are colored differently so net change reads at a glance.
- The Funds donut shows each Fund's share of fund-directed giving; the table's Share column is its share of all giving, so those percentages won't sum to 100%.
