How Giver notifications work

Notifications Givers receive

• New post from a followed Organization. Sent on publish. Once per post; not re-sent on edits.
• Goal hit on a post they participated in. Sent on auto-close.
• Victory post published. Sent when you publish the victory post for a closed post they participated in.
• Recurring Gift processed. Sent at the time of each recurring cycle, with the impact unit count.
• Receipts. Year-end statements are emailed (PDF via expo-print on mobile-initiated requests).

Notifications you receive

• New Gift on your Organization or post. Real-time push and email (configurable).
• New follower. Real-time push.
• New recurring subscriber. Real-time push and email.
• Payout scheduled / completed. Email.
• Compliance or admin notice. Email and in-app inbox.

Notification settings

Both Givers and Organizations can mute categories of notifications in Settings. Defaults are conservative — Xerish does not send marketing-style notifications, and per CONSTITUTION voice rules, never creates urgency to Give more.

What you cannot do

• Send a broadcast notification to your followers. This is intentional. Xerish does not give Organizations the power to push to followers directly; the platform decides what triggers a notification.
• Re-notify on a re-edited post. Editing a post does not re-fire the notification.

Email deliverability

Xerish uses a reputable transactional email provider. To improve deliverability to your Organization''s inbox, allowlist notifications@xerish.com.
