Reports & exports

The Reports & Exports center downloads your organization's records as a spreadsheet for accounting, board reporting and reconciliation. Every export is generated on the server and recorded against your org for audit.

What it's for

Getting your data out of Xerish and into your books — reconciling deposits against your bank, preparing board reports, and producing year-end stewardship summaries.

How it works

  1. Pick a dataset:
    • Gifts — one row per gift to your org: date, giver (anonymous givers shown masked), amount, status, and the post or campaign it supported.
    • Deposits — one row per grant Xerish Storehouse paid into your Stripe account: date, amount, status and Stripe transfer ID. Use this to reconcile against your bank.
    • By giver — one row per giver: lifetime total, gift count, average gift, first/last gift, and engagement band.
    • By campaign — goal, raised, gift count and percent to goal.
    • By Fund — one row per church Fund: goal, raised, gift count and close date.
  2. Set a date range. Dated datasets accept From/To. The by-giver report is always all-time and ignores the range.
  3. Choose a format — CSV (opens in any spreadsheet) or Excel (.xlsx, a formatted workbook). Both contain the same columns.
  4. Download. A confirmation shows how many rows were exported.

Governing limitations

  • Exports are a finance surface — access follows your team role and area permissions.
  • Anonymous givers are masked in the gifts and by-giver datasets.
  • The campaign and Fund rollups count completed, non-refunded gifts only.
  • Reports are for your records. Official tax statements to givers are issued separately by Xerish Storehouse — these spreadsheets are not a substitute.

Good to know

  • The deposits dataset is the one to reconcile against your bank, since it carries the Stripe transfer ID for each settled grant.
  • For year-end stewardship summaries, the by-giver rollup is the fastest starting point.
